Max Levine Ensemble

So its about 80 degrees out and with humidity your face should be melted off by now. Its summer in the D.C. metropolitan area again so that basically means ska, pop punk, biking to wherever the fuck you need to go, and basement shows where your cloths melt off. Add these all together with more DIY ideals and being goofy and positive and you get The Max Levine Ensemble. This band reigning in from D.C. is an awesome pop punk/ ska band to listen too when your trying to just have a rad jam during the summer or bummed out about those you go to high school( or work with). It's fronted by folk punk singer Spoonboy, which can easily be told by his vocals and lyrics. Not only they are just rad jams but they are an awesome band to see live being pretty high energy and when you see them their more about having fun and not doing the whole flannel cross armed waltz around the small space you already got. I got the chance to see these guys last year with BTMI!, Good Luck, and Control which was a rad concert not only cause the line up just killed to begin with but also it was the first concert I started getting into the whole DIY ideals shindig. But back to the point, they are a generally fun band to see live and listen to so check them out, look out for their new EP coming out at the end of May called Them Steadily Depressing, Low Down Mind Messing , Post Modern Recession Blues, support them and see them if you can cause these guys will be touring around D.C. during the summer.
